Webinar software comparison: Crowdcast vs Google Meet

Crowdcast vs Google Meet: features

Users can access Crowdcast effortlessly via computer browser, mobile device, or tablet. The same is true for Google Meet. The best promotional tool within Crowdcast is a smart link feature that gives multiple promotional materials the same URL. Google Meet users, meanwhile, can benefit from its built-in reminder email tool. However, these emails cannot be customized, and event hosts cannot restrict registrations to a professional email address. Key activation features in Crowdcast include multi-streaming and CTAs. The greatest downside is the lack of emoji features, which help guests share reactions in real-time. Some of Google Meet’s best engagement tools are built-in Q&A, polls, and digital whiteboards, but there are no live answer notifications. Lastly, Crowdcast users can gain audience insights with its advanced analytics tool, but there is no data enrichment feature. Google Meet also offers an attendee activity dashboard but does not provide on-demand webinar streaming.

Crowdcast vs Google Meet: integrations

Crowdcast has a wide range of native integration options, including ConvertKit, Stripe, and Drip. There are also many native integrations offered by Google Meet, including Google Workspace, Clickshare Conference, and TurboHire. Users wishing to develop custom integrations for Crowdcast will be disappointed, as there is currently no API solution for the platform. Google Meet is no better in this respect, as it also does not offer an API option, either. Neither Crowdcast nor Google Meet offers a public SDK, meaning developers cannot create widgets and plugins for either platform. For this reason, companies with more unique needs may want to consider other platforms which are more customizable. Even though Crowdcast offers a few integrations, it does not display them in any kind of app marketplace. No app marketplace exists specifically for Google Meet, either, but the Google Workspace Marketplace lists the applications that can be integrated with Google Meet and other Google products.

Crowdcast vs Google Meet: pricing

Crowdcast offers a two-week trial period but does not offer a free plan. Google Meet offers a free plan limited to a webinar use case and supports up to three participants. The most inexpensive Crowdcast plan is its Starter plan, which starts out at $29 per month and supports up to 50 participants. Google Meet’s lowest-priced plan is Google Workplace Individual, which starts at $7.99 a month and supports up to 100 participants. There are two Crowdcast plans designed specifically for small businesses. The Lite plan costs $49 per month and hosts up to 100 participants, and Pro costs $90 per month and supports up to 250. Google Meet does not offer a similar product in this tier. Finally, enterprise corporations can use Crowdcast’s Business plan for $195 a month. This plan has a wide suite of features and supports up to 1000 live attendees. As for Google Meet, it offers Google Workspace Enterprise, which allows up to 250 meeting attendees and up to 100,000 viewers. The price is not listed.
